Anyone born in Jersey, or having an interest in the Island, is welcome to join the Jersey Society in London.

Three evening meetings are held each year, usually in February, June and October, at University College, Gower Street, London WC1. Members and guests can enjoy a drink and socialise before having supper with a speaker, usually from Jersey. Subjects covered include the Island’s history, culture, people, politics and economics. The Annual Dinner is held at the October meeting when the speaker is usually a member of the States of Jersey.

Jersey residents visiting London are always welcome at meetings.

The Society publishes each year two editions of “The Bulletin”, containing articles written by members, reports of the talks given at meeting, reviews of books on the Channel Islands and a summary of news from Jersey.

The Society has three categories of membership. All Members may attend meetings, but only Full Members are entitled to a free issue of “The Bulletin”. Annual subscriptions, which are payable on 1st January each year, are £10 for Full Membership, £15 for Family Membership and £5 for Student Membership

The Family Member’s rate is available to two people living at the same address who receive a single copy of “The Bulletin”. Student Membership is for those in full time education.
